What are the current experiences with DTV and soft power courses during visa runs in Thailand?

Question

Hello ! Anyone who got DTV with soft power courses experienced any issues at airport immigrations during visa runs ? Like the officers question about new courses and how the course is doing because normally the courses are 6 months long. Is it required to enroll new courses after each one expires just to extend my period of stay? i’m going to skip soft power option if it is so. It’s going to be costly.

The discussion revolves around experiences with the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) linked to soft power courses and potential issues faced at Thai immigration during visa runs. Users report generally not encountering questions regarding the courses upon re-entry into Thailand, despite the concerns about having to enroll in new courses to extend their stay. Some suggest options like a cheaper one-year course for peace of mind, though it appears not strictly necessary at this point. The conversation highlights uncertainty about future requirements but a current ease in the immigration process for DTV holders.

Im considering launching a DTV plus course.the idea is its a cheap 1 year course with a letter and a link to a database that the Immigration officer can check. Its a bit premature as of yet but if it becomes a thing where Immigration want ongoing documents it will help. Some won't be interested but some of my customers want peace of mind but dont want to lay out for another full course. I have had 3 or 4 customers purchase new courses " just in case" and I advised them its not really necessary as of now. Let's see how it develops

As others have said nobody has reported this being asked unlike some with Ed. Will this ever change? Nobody knows and just deal with it if it does. Currently just come and go as yiu please.

Can’t change the reason for getting the visa one you’ve got it, stuck with it for the 5 years

I haven’t had any issues “re qualifying “ on entry I’ve come in 12 times , about to do my 13th entry.

But to be fair it is Thailand anything could change.
