Can you re-enter Thailand on a DTV visa after completing your courses?

After you finished your original reason for the DTV (i.e. finished all your Muay Thai or cooking classes),

do you still have the right to enter via the DTV visa?

I have heard of people asking to prove that they're still enrolled for classes.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa allows entry into Thailand for activities like Muay Thai or cooking classes. However, the need to prove ongoing enrollment may arise, although many have reported not being questioned upon re-entry. Generally, there's no clear requirement stated in immigration documentation for continuous attendance at these classes. Interestingly, some report being questioned about their enrollment status, especially if they initially enrolled in short-term courses to obtain the visa.

We have a dirt cheap DTV plus option for our customers who want peace of mind. Proof of ongoing muay thai gym membership which immigration can scan to get to the members page on our website . But the general consensus is its not required..... yet

Some people who did sign up for those short 3 month classes to get a DTV were questioned when they came back into the country as far as if they were still enrolled or still attending what ever it was they signed up for to get the visa issue

BUT

most people are not questioned about it and it doesn't even say on the PDF that is your visa what soft power reason the visa was issued under so immigrations has no way of knowing

I have not seen one post where someone was denied entry as they did not have an ongoing clurse

but technically, would you somehow have to get the DTV canceled when you are for a particular entry not want to pursue a Muay Thai class but let’s say, just come in for a two week vacation? Or tell the IO so they give you a visa exempt 60 days instead of the 180 days? I believe, unfortunately these rules are not publicly accessible, if they exist.

I do not even think they exist. Immigration have been very hands off with the DTV. They took 6 months to issue guidance for extensions. I think it is common knowledge Immigration are not fans of the DTV.
