Looking for clarification. If going for a DTV course, and the course is only 6 months for example, what happens when you re-enter?

Do i need to re-apply for the course?

 Or is that one term of 6 months study is enough for the 5-year DTV and immigration will allow to re enter long after course is done?

Someone showed them their work contract the other day. They seem more suspicious of nomad DTVs for some reason. Probably think they're working illegally in Thailand, especially if they spent time here before applying.

You can apply for and obtain a DTV with it, BUT:

1. When extending in Thailand, you'll need to show ongoing activity. Keep in mind that you're applying for a 5-year Soft Power Visa, so it wouldn't make much sense to grant it for just a 6-month activity. It is a new visa with changing rules.

2. No one can predict future border requirements. So far, it seems fine

in most cases, but I saw one case yesterday where additional documents were required.
