Out of curiosity:

If you hold a DTV Soft Power, do you have to prove a 5 year course? From what I see on the Internet, the packages normally include a 1 year course plus visa support. What happens on re-entry after this first year? Do you have to book another course?

I know, the DTV isn't old enough to answer this questions. Just wondering ...

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV Soft Power visa currently does not require proof of an ongoing course for re-entry into Thailand after the initial one-year period. However, while crossing the border does not entail proving continued enrollment, such proof may be necessary when extending the visa with immigration authorities in Thailand. The regulations are still evolving, and requirements could change in the future.

Interesting! And good for you and all the other Soft Power people 🥳

But, to be honest: It doesn't really make sense 🤣

The ones who've been questioned up to now are some people who got their DTV from Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and Laos. Immigration are suspicious some people used a dodgy agent.

So far not required when crossing the border but required when extending with immigration in Thailand. So the accurate answer is it may or may not be required on the long term.

For re-entry there is no requirement for proof of ongoing course or activity right now.
