TLDR : Answer Summary
The primary question concerns whether the 400,000 baht requirement for a marriage visa needs to be shown in the Thai citizen's or the foreign spouse's bank account. The consensus among commenters is that the funds only need to be in the foreign spouse's account, particularly for foreign males marrying Thai females, as they are typically expected to provide financial support. There are occasional exceptions where immigration officers might request proof of funds from the foreign partner, but this is rare.

Your out of luck mate, she can keep the money in her account or spend it as she doesn't need it for her marriage to you 😉
As others have stated, a foreign woman marrying a Thai man does not have to prove any funds. The general theory is that "You as the Thai man will be supporting her."
Beware I have seen one report a while ago of an immigration office still wanting to see funds, but I think that was rare and probably could be argued and the immigration office would change their decision.

From my understanding, no need for any funds from her side. Only foreign males need to show proof of funds.
