I have a retirement multi entry visa. After renewing , how long do I have to maintain the 800 k in my bank ? I think I can reduce it but need to maintain 400 k before increasing back to 800 for the next renewal . Please advise

can you open a Thai investment account and earn while the cash is sitting there? or does it have to be a regular bank with no interest.

you can have a straight savings account and as long as you can access the money any time you can have a fixed deposit account.

Must have in bank 800,000 two full months before extension renewal date

Keep 800,000 for three months after extension approved date.

Cannot go below 400,000 all other months.
