probably an easy question......

I have a retirement O visa with a separate 800K bank account.

visa valid till june 28th, renewed already on june 15th.

800K needs to stay 3 months in the account, after that I can reduce it to 400K for 6 months, then back to 800K.....

when does this start ?

september 15th or september 28th ?

TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires about the starting date for the 3-month maintenance period of 800,000 baht in their bank account, under their retirement (O) visa, following renewal. They are unsure if the period starts on September 15th or September 28th after the initial 3 months.

This is the official text, all you have to do now is to match the dates:
Robert *******
Filling date is the date that a person walks into Immigration and hand over the application to the officer.

Permission granted date is the date the Immigration Officer stamps the new 1 year Extension of Stay in the passport.

Example in picture:

permission granted on 1 Jun 2017

Person is allowed to stay and has to apply for a new extension of stay before 27 Aug 2018

Money has to stay in the bank for at least 3 months after 1 Jun so can be reduced to 400.000 thb after 1 Sep.

To be safe I’d go with the later date of the 28th. I think “filing date” and “permission granted date” both could be subject to interpretation by your local immigration office. Of course, you could just ask them directly.
