What documentation do I need to renew my Non-O visa extension using two bank accounts in Thailand?

Hello… This August I will be renewing my 1year extension Non-O based on being 50+

January i opened a second savings account and placed my 800,000+ baht into it, that way I never used it and only used my original account for daily living etc , part of the reason I did this was because I didn’t want stacks of paperwork from the yearly activity that immigration requires that I have showing that I’ve never gone below 400,000 and maintained 800,000 when required months….Question is, will I need copy requests from both accounts showing the whole year requirement money, how do I go about this? I figured I’d make life easier for me but now I think I didn’t 😔

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about the documentation needed for their upcoming Non-O visa extension renewal, specifically about two savings accounts they have in Thailand. They seek clarity on whether they need to show records from both accounts or just the one holding over 800,000 baht, and how to properly prepare their paperwork to comply with immigration requirements.

Folks I just deleted a reply from a member suggesting other than the Do it YOURSELF way to get the Thai Immigration service needed for the OP.

We don't allow any discussion of any other way to get a Thai Visa or extension of stay... UNLESS IT'S BY DOING IT YOURSELF

if you mean you opened your 800k baht account in January 2024, THIS year, you need to get the bank transaction history with your another account as well to make the whole 1 year history to show you keep the regulation of 800 k for three months after your current extension granted last august and keep 400 k baht for the rest of the year.

be aware that on a regular account (saving) they might charge you fees.

Keep maybe 801k to be sure not fall under 800k the 2 months prior and 3 months after the extension submission 🙏

And make sure you have a couple of thousand over and above the 800k, just to cover any charges the bank may levy, wouldnt be good to drop to

Your Thai bank account which has the 800,000 Thai baht in it is the only one that you need to get the one year report from your Thai bank for submission with your next one year extension of stay as retired.

That's assuming you have had that account open for the full 12 months prior to your application for the one year extension of stay as retired.

I think not... if you opened it up in January 2024.

???

In that case you will need to show both Bank account reports...to cover the full 12 months of your current extension of stay.
