TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether to return to the same immigration office in Bangkok for completing the visa process, particularly in light of having an 'under consideration' stamp. Multiple comments suggest that visitors should indeed return to the original location, as neglecting to do so may result in fines or complications with future travel. There's also mention of recent policy changes regarding visa extensions and 90-day reporting deadlines, especially given the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

You need to go back to the immigration office where you applied for your under cosideration visa 'coz your files/record is already there. That' s what i did. Then they said you don't need to extend your visa your free to stay until July 31st
YOU MUST GO BACK TO IMMIGRATION TO FINALIZE YOUR 'under consideration'.
There seems to be confusion. You will be charged on leaving Thailand at a later date if you do not.
I've just been. It took me 10 minutes.
Make sure you take an adequate map as taxi drivers, locals or even the people painting the immigration building do not know where it is or what's happening inside. No matter how good your Thai is.
and NOW you definitely qualify for the amnesty program and can stay until no longer than the 31st of July.
You need to pay attention to when the borders open back up and the government makes an announcement about what amnesty holders need to do as far as leaving the country.
Good Luck, Glad it worked out, stay safe (y)

No matter what advice you're getting I say GO back to the MTT location and have them complete the extension you applied for.
Don't let them tell you that you don't need to, just tell them you WANT the second stamp. They'll give it to you no problem.
My under consideration stamp expired on the 1st I went and the guy who was ahead of me was supposed to back earlier in the month they chewed him out and now he will have to pay overstay when he leaves. If it says go; go.
All visas are exempt until 31st July. If you're on an extention of stay that expires before that date and want to remain in Thailand after 31st July then apply as normal. Ideal time to go as Immigration offices wont be busy.

But the image in other post says 90 day report. Who on tourist visa needs to make that report?

Immigration in Chonburi says that 90-day report is not needed until July 31. Is this the same here in Bangkok?

Good to know, thanks.

you went to the Muang Thong Thani location to get your under consideration stamp and that's where you go to get the 'extension of stay' stamp that completes the two step (two stamp) process..
