TLDR : Answer Summary

A comment clarifies that it is necessary to return to the same immigration office to close the 'Under Consideration' stamp for the extension.

Thanks James, my question was whether you know of any offices in Bangkok that are offering the full 60 days without the under consideration stamp, as is the case in Chiang Mai, for example.

The Bangkok immigration offices are only issuing the "under consideration" stamps. After you get the "under consideration stamp" you'll return to immigration, and they will give you the full 60 day stamp.
