Do I need to report to immigration every 90 days or 180 days with my DTV visa in Thailand?

I Just got my DTV recently, horraaah! Here’s the tale to be told:

1) After copious amounts of research and scrolling through comments (thanks to this FB page). I booked a flight to Luang Prabang to explore more of the north of Laos, assuming mostly all can be done online.

2) I uploaded 6 statements, a photo, a photo of my Laos visa sticker, passport and work contract. After submitting I was told to go to Vientiane to pay at the embassy 😢. So the next day I took the train and stayed in a very strange yet comfortable hotel nearby.

3) When paid, I waited 4 days in that crazy city until l heard back from them asking for a photo of the actual stamp of entry into Laos, which I uploaded online. I had killed time by seeing Paddington in Peru on the cinema, really good.

4) 1 more day went by when they asked me to attend an interview in 5 days time 😫 😫. So I felt ‘No Way’ and went to Vang Vieng for a spot of hiking and climbing.

5) Interview day! Smart casually dressed, all I brought was my phone loaded with a few days data and my passport. The interviewer was kind and polite and asked what I will be doing in Thailand, to which I replied “working for the company in the UK while enjoying some of Thailand.” He wanted to clarify that the company was actually in the UK while going through my contract. Then he asked me to open my bank account on my phone, checking to see if my address matches up with that of my driving license which I luckily had with me. He then scrolled through my account which I felt is insanely invasive, checking the money coming in on various months. Once satisfied he stated that a decision will be sent to my email either later today or tomorrow.

6) I got the approval moments of sitting in a cafe, so busily booked a flight back into Thailand the very same day. Vientiane is not a great place to be held up.Through immigration in Bangkok the lady took one look at the newly printed DTV visa and stamped me for 180 days, easy as that!

7) My question now lies that do I have to report to immigration in Thailand every 90 days, or 180 since that is what was stamped on my passport?

Congrats. You'll need to report each 90 days spent in Thailand per stay. If leaving before, no need to report.
