Hello everyone, for those who have a DTV visa, could you please share your experience with the 90-day stay reporting at immigration?

This is my first time staying in Thailand for nearly 90 days. I heard that I need to report to immigration. Where should I go if I live in Bangkok, and what documents do I need to prepare?
Answer summary

Thank you everyone. As a lot have noted, I wrote the wrong visa. I should have put the non O.

I was mainly after info on when to actually apply for the visa and I got that answer from many of you.

I know about agents etc but trying to avoid them if possible but if needed I have some contacts for them.

Thanks once again

Free 30 day entry do the paperwork after you arrive. Imo it’s a wiser to keep a bank account open in your home country and open an account in a Thai bank when you get your visa

If you get 1 year Non O visa from London, you can open bank account when you get here no problem. That is the best route.

If that's a problem then yes get here see an agent.

As already stated several time but worth repeating. Are you sure you want an non-OA visa and not a non-O visa? The major difference is that the OA requires you have a Thai approved medical insurance and you will need this EVERY year you renew your extension and the O visa does not need it, there are others that might mean OA is right for you. A lot of people (rightly) say that having medical insurance is a good idea but being limited to just the approved companies and with the 'high' value coverage means you won't be able to shop around and have a more limited cover. I know I haven't answered you question but this is important and if you change your requirement to a non-O visa then the question might be different.
