Has anyone here gotten their DTV visa but their dependent got it for a shorter period of time?
If so, did you find a way to work around that?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around whether dependents of individuals holding a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand can receive a visa for a shorter period than the primary visa holder. Some comments clarify that dependents generally receive a visa that matches the primary holder's expiry date. However, issues may arise if a dependent's passport expires before the visa period ends, necessitating travel with both old and new passports. Specific scenarios and details from other users suggest that the dependent's visa duration could vary based on individual circumstances.
Dependants get their own dtv. Which is valid for 5 years from the approval of their visa. If their passport expires before the visa, just travel with old and new passports
It may be due to their passport expiring prior to the 5 years. My kids have 5 years from the day we applied for theirs and not from our valid from date.
