My husband has yellow book. He lives in my house.

He flies in-out of Thailand every month.

DTV visa question.

Do i still need to report the immigration for his address address every time when i fly back to Thailand?
Answer summary
The necessity to report immigration address details for a foreigner with a Yellow Book and a DTV visa depends on the policies of the local immigration office in Thailand. While some offices may require a new TM30 form each time the individual returns to Thailand, others may not, especially if the foreigner is returning to the same address. It is advisable to check with the local immigration office for specifics on their requirements.

Legally its not required if all details remain the same as the current tm30, and its still active (prior to check out date). As Brandon said some offices may require an updated one if he is interacting with them, but on a dtv and monthly travel cycle, thats not likely to be happening. If he stays 3 months and has to report his 90 day stay, then its best to file a new one just before reporting in person to save any potential issues with that particular office.

Hua Hin not strict about filing a new TM30 when you return if you are returning to the same address.

Him having a yellow book is irrelevant. Him having a DTV is irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is the rules of your local immigration office. Some immigration offices require a new TM30 each time entering Thailand, while some do not if returning to the same address. So you need to ask your specific immigration office what their policy is on TM30. That will be the rule for every single foreigner in your province that doesn't have PR or Thai citizenship, regardless of visa type.

With Yellow Book and using and returning to the same address, no new TM30 is needed, even when returning from overseas. Those telling you different, are unable to get the Yellow Book themselves.
