Good morning to everyone, I'm right back in Bkk, I have a question : just arrived in Bangkok from Europe in extention of visa, and as I bought a condo I am in my own apartment. DO I need to go to immigration to fill any kind of paper to tell them where I live, or the fact that I wrote it on the papers entering the country would be enough??
Thank you so much for your kind answer.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user asks whether they need to notify immigration of their new address after moving into a condo in Bangkok. The response indicates that they must register their address according to Section 38 with form TM30, which can be done either in-person at Chaengwattana Immigration or online. The user also inquires about the timeline for this and the location of the immigration office.
Chaengwattana is easier to get to if you just take the regular BTS to Wat Phra Sri Mahathat, exit off the station on EXIT 1, go down and catch a cab to the gov't complex on Changwattana road, (less than 60 baht)
You mean that we are actually in a period of holidays and that starting from now, all offices are closed till Monday, that means that if I cannot do it now online, better wait till Monday before moving there??
I would try first to do it online, then If I don't succeed going there in the afternoon, but I was wondering on what would it happen if I don't succeed on doing it!
, you'll either be able to register to USE the system and then log in and file the TM30 or you won't, ๐
If you can't get it to work, take the chanote (the title deed) that has your name on it, your passport and go to Chaengwattana and file a Tm30 paper in person.
Keep in mind ALL immigration offices in the country are CLOSED until Monday so that's the soonest you could go in person.
, the processing time is 5 minutes or so. You would wait for a while but depends on how many are waiting before you.

You need to register your address. You can go to the immigration office to do it in person, or try online.
It is the rule called Section 38, the form is TM30 (NOTIFICATION FROM FOR HOUSE-MASTER, OWNER OR THE POSSESSOR OF THE RESIDENCE WHERE ALIEN HAS STAYED).
If your address is in Bangkok exactly (not that 'greater Bangkok'), you will go to the Chaengwattana Immigration office in case you want to register in person.
