I will apply for a dtv visa later this year. I work remotely and have my Australian employers support and they will provide me with a letter confirming such.
Once granted- I believe it is for 5 years. Is there a requirement to provide continual evidence of my employment?
Answer summary
Once the DTV visa is granted, there is generally no requirement to provide continual evidence of employment for the duration of the 5-year visa period. However, it is advisable to carry the original documents submitted during your application when entering Thailand. While some comments suggest that ongoing documentation may be needed for visa renewals or extensions, the consensus is that no additional proof is typically required upon re-entry.

No you don't need to provide continued evidence. Once you have the visa that's it for 5 years. Every time you enter, have a soft or hard copy of your DTV with you and remember to fill in the TDAC before you arrive or you'll be sitting doing it at the airport.
There is currently no obligation to provide any further information once the visa is granted. However, if you attempt to apply for an in country extension you will have to supply all the original documents, and more. I've re-entered 6 times and never been asked a single question
The requirements are always changing, so a good chance you will have to show continued documentation each time you renew or re-enter after 180 days is up.
