Applied and accepted for DTV. Since it's a long stay I've booked a one way flight. Is the DTV visa enough to satisfy the airline or do I still need proof of onward travel?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa does not typically require proof of onward travel, which makes a one-way flight acceptable. Comments from the community support this, stating that showing the DTV visa at check-in should suffice. However, it’s advisable to check with the airline directly, as their policies may vary. Some users also suggest obtaining a temporary onward ticket for peace of mind.
Congrats!! If still decide tonbe safe look for services online that provide a valid ticket reservation for 7-10 usd for 2-3 days (buy it before you depart and show, looks like a normal ticket and can be validated by airlines if checked). Plan to apply for DTV coming year and change Vietnam to Thailand also ;) Have fun!!
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
