Hello, when I was filling out the Thailand Pass document I did not mention that I have a 6 hour connection in Abu Dhabi (I'm coming from Israel), is that ok? Or should I have mentioned it? MeantimeI have not received confirmation yet: /

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether mentioning a 6-hour layover in Abu Dhabi when filling out the Thailand Pass document was necessary. Most commenters agree that if you do not leave the airport and your transit is under 12 hours, there is no need to mention the layover. They advise that the primary concern is the flight number upon arrival in Thailand. Clarifications were also offered about the timing for receiving confirmation for the pass and the importance of allowing sufficient time for processing.

Naomi Laor they are only interested in the country you depart from, if you dont leave the international section of an airport you have not officially entered that country so a stop over in Abu Dhabi is not needed to be mentioned as your not going into the country as your staying on the international side.

It doesn't ask you for comments, End of the day it's upto you to allow enough time ie: upto 7 days, to get the pass before your flights.

ah really? u mean first in firs serve? so why some ppl got the confirmation within a few hours while other ones (me…) are waiting since many days???????

thats thai systems for you, but it does warn you it can take upto 7 days. Those that dont get it because they dont allow the 7 days before they fly really only have themselves to blame for not reading and following the advice.

i understand what u mean. but i really hate when the "first in first serve" rule do not apply, and above all i wonder what happens if they don't like some of my attachments (coz jpeg is surely not as good quality as pdf......) but they'll inform me only 5 days prior to my flight... and then what can i do, upload again and wait 7 more days, which means missing the flight?

I understand your thoughts, total pain in the arse, sadly not many things that Thai government organize ever works very well

true! but even a primary school boy knows that u can keep the old system (COE) valid together with the new one (thailand pass) until the new one is working correctly......... wtf.............. i wouldnt care too much if i was stuck in vientiane, but in HK i cant really afford 2 more weeks "holidays" coz of that...

Just put in the first flight number for the TP

I believe the only flight that's asked about is your arrival flight number.

Whatever transit country you are using for travel to Thailand is irrelevant as long as the transit time is no longer than 12 hours and that you do not leave the airport.

@Stuart ********
thats correct, your not seen as entering the country if you stay international side
