Do I need to fill out the TM30 form myself while staying at an Airbnb in Thailand?

Hi everyone, I'm having trouble finding this information-

I'm in Thailand as a tourist and want to extend 30 days. I'll go to the immigration office this week, but the TM30 form is confusing. Staying at an Airbnb, do I need to fill the form or does my host?

Also, anyone know if I can do the photocopies and photos by the Central Festival immi office in Chianmai? Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
When extending your tourist visa in Thailand, the TM30 form must be submitted by your Airbnb host rather than yourself. While it varies by office, you might need a printout of confirmation depending on the immigration office's procedures. As for making photocopies and getting photos, check if the Central Festival immigration office in Chiang Mai offers these services.

Yes

Your host should do it. You may need a print out of it. I certainly did 2 years ago in Chiang Mai although in other offices I haven't needed it they have just checked online.

Your host but thats unlikely as probably avoiding tax. Not sure if required there

required in Chiang Mai. In fact they usually send people to the TM30 desk with their paper copy to get an "official" copy before proceeding with their application.

You can't fill out the forms. It's the property owner that must submit the TM30 for you.
