if you showed up here without having bought a tourist visa from the thai consulate in your country before you came here and were stamped in FREE for 45 days you did NOT enter on a tourist visa 😮 , or a visa on arrival 😮 OR on any visa at all 😮

You got in on a free entry stamp which is for 45 days right now for people from 58 countries.

NOW whether you can or can't get a 30 day extension at the immigration office inside the country comes down to what nationality your passport is.

So what is the country is your passport from?

So to get a 30 day extension you would go to either the main immigration office in Chiang Mai by the airport OR the alternate immigration office located on the 2nd floor in Central Festival Mall.

This is a general idea of what can be requested to get a 30 day extension on your entry stamp for 1900baht. You can get ONE 30 day extension per entry.
