Hello, I have a 90 day reporting of residence question for the group, related to an initial 90 day ED visa I recently received. I entered Thailand on Aug and so was preparing to do my report. I asked my language school a question about it and they informed me that when I obtained the ED visa, that 90 day count was reset with the new visa and I won’t need to do the reporting. I’d never heard of this before and can’t find any source that notes that. Has anyone on an ED visa been told this as well, or anyone know an official source that states that? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarity on the 90-day reporting requirement associated with their new ED visa, questioning whether the count resets with the visa change. Responses clarify that the 90-day reporting obligation only begins after obtaining an extension from the initial 90 days of a Non-Immigrant visa, highlighting the importance of verifying details with immigration officials.
