Hi, Just for update, went to Chang Watthana Immigration Office yesterday and got 60 days covid extension on the spot for TR visa. Extension started the day I visited to the Chang Watthana Immigration Office. 90 days reporting was not required for me. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user shared their experience of obtaining a 60-day COVID extension for their TR visa at the Chang Watthana Immigration Office, stating that 90-day reporting was not required for them. However, commenters raised concerns about the necessity of the 90-day report, emphasizing that it's essential to confirm with the appropriate counter, as failing to do so could result in a fine.

I'm shutting this down.

1. The counter that processes extension of stays IS NOT the same counter that processes the 90 day reports. IF you are curious if you need to file a 90 day report, ASK the 90 day report counter.

2. IF you do not ask the 90 day report counter, the immigration officer will be guessing. You MAY be fined 2K THB for not submitting a 90 day report.

3. For people using Bangkok Immigration, I believe a 90 day report is required for a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. A 90 day report must be submitted every 90 days, with a window of 15 days before to 7 days after.

Thanks for the update. But...

>90 days reporting was not required for me.

How do you know that? Did you ask Muang Thong Thani, where they do the 90 day reports?

And did you ask the immigration officer at Counter A in Muang Thong Thani, or was it at Changwattana?
