Hi guys, I’m moving from Chonburi to Krabi on Friday. I have a Non-Im B visa and work permit which both expire at the end of November.
However, I’ve been told I need to cancel the work permit in the place it was issued (Chonburi) so I plan on doing this before I leave to avoid traveling back to Chonburi.
Does anyone know if I need to get the Covid visa extension as soon as my work permit is cancelled (making my visa void) or can I wait until I get to Krabi and do it there?
Thanks!

Community members clarify that the work permit is tied to employment status, not residence, and emphasize the importance of applying for the Covid extension immediately after cancelling the work permit to avoid overstaying.
