TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among users is that you need to book an appointment to apply for a Non-B teaching visa at the Thai Embassy in Kuala Lumpur. While some have mentioned that it may be possible to go early before your scheduled appointment time, it is strongly advised to secure an appointment in advance to avoid complications. Several commenters have shared their experiences, suggesting that arriving early can sometimes allow for quicker processing, although others noted that those who came without appointments were directed to the internet shop to make one.

note visa collection. Maybe you don't need it. The guys on the gate are pretty friendly, I suppose if you have the receipt they'd probably let you in.

Shouldn't it be the same appointment though?

I went last week. Book the appointment but you can go before your time slot. For example my appointment was 11:45 but I got there at 9am showed them my number and went in. Waited about 25mins dropped the stuff off and then had the whole day to myself
