Hi, has anyone recently applied for Non-B from Thai Royal Embassy in Kuala Lumpur? If so, could you share your experience and what documents were requested? Is it the same as website or anything extra or less? Thanks in advance.

EDIT : Also, does anyone (Pakistan specifically or National of the countries listed as restricted by Thai consulates) have experience applying non-b at Laos or Cambodia? Thanks and much appreciated. I tried browsing Thailand Laos website and it has all information in Thai despite me selecting English tab in the top.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the experience of applying for a Non-B visa at the Thai Royal Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, specifically requesting details on required documents, any changes in application procedures, and experiences from Pakistani nationals or citizens from countries with restrictions. Responses include information on the need for an appointment after February 1st, an overview of required documents, and expected processing times.

You (Pakistani) can apply in KL, processing time will be 7 to 15 days to get approved. If you go there in mid Feb then you will need to book an appointment with Embassy.

Required Documents:

Copy of your workpermit (keep original to show)

Company's letter (Eng and Thai)

DBD with copies of director's id and Tabian Ban

Map of your office location and your job contract.

They can most definitely get a Non-B in KL, they just wait for it to be approved.

What is the country of origin of your passport? If it is listed at KL it will take at least 4 weeks to get a Non Immigrant B visa.

Check list for "listed" countries passport holders.

I don't know how many of them are here, but normally I would add the link to the download page and in your case that would be the incorrect link, due to your passport. So telling passport would help to get directly correct information. But thanks for adding.

Pakistan. Yes it’s listen in KL and it says 4 weeks however a friend of mine got it in 2 weeks so it’s case by case basis. I also read some people, national of the countries listed there have applied in Laos so I’m hoping someone can share the information of which option is better for me.

If you go after 1 Feb, you need to make an appointment first. You print out the two documents from their website, fill in the TM 7 application form and tick the boxes of the checklist if you have these documents and sign both pages.

Now it says starting on 6 Feb.

-----

Starting on 6 February 2019, all visa applicants are required to make online appointments before visiting the Embassy. This is to minimise waiting time and long queue. A weblink for making appointment will be available soon.
