Do I Need a Second Appointment to Pick Up My Non-Immigrant B Visa?

Hello! I’m picking up my non immigrant B visa in Kuala Lumpur soon. I just made an appointment to drop it off the first morning (by clicking NON-IMMIGRANT VISA (B) FOR EMPLOYMENT AS TEACHER on the Thai embassy website).

Do I need to make an appointment for the second day to pick it up in the afternoon as well? If so, what is the earliest appointment I can choose? I know it needs to be in the afternoon, so is anytime after 12 okay? I didn’t see anything that differentiated the type of appointment (for pick up vs drop off). Thank you so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the appointment process for picking up their Non-Immigrant B visa after submitting their application. Several commenters clarify that an appointment is required for pickup the next working day, typically between 14:30 and 16:30. It is advised to wait until you receive a confirmation SMS/email to make the pickup appointment.

Yes you have to book an appointment to collect it the next day. You are able to book the appointment for pickup after you submit your application on the first day. You can pick it up between 2.30pm - 4.30pm on the day after you submit your application.

Once you have dropped it off you can then make an appointment to pick up by clicking the above link

Don’t do it before as I tried to be clever and did this once and it messes up your original appointment for drop off

Embassy site says:

Visa collection

After you submitted your visa application, you will receive an SMS/Email on your application progress within the next day morning. The SMS/Email will contain a web link to make appointment to retrieve your passport.

I just heard from my school that we’ll need to self quarantine for two weeks if we go to Malaysia! Apparently the government just announced it. Are you still going?

From the website : In most cases, the visas can be collected on the next working day from 14.30 to 16.30 hrs.

I advice to make an appointment the next working day between 14:30 to 16:30 hrs.

I just tried to but it appears the appointments stop at 12:15. Maybe we don't need an appointment for pick up?
