Hello,

I’m used to going to Vientiane and have gone there twice in the past without a problem (last time was 20th July 2017). However, my school that hired me mentioned that Vientiane has been difficult recently. Therefore, they have suggested me to go to KL for a visa run to apply for a non-b (teacher). I will have acquired all the required documents in 2 weeks including authenticated degrees, authenticated police background check (US) and Thai, and additional document copies just in case they ask for them. I have a US passport with a tourist visa that is expiring on the 7th of August 2019. I was just wondering what others have experienced with the Thai consulate in KL in regards to applying for a non-b visa. What should I expect? I know it may be a stretch with my situation but anything would help. I just get the impression that KL is a bit tough compared to Laos.
