Hi! I'm applying for a DTV (π΅π passport holder ) at the Thai Embassy in Manila π΅π under the Medical Treatment (Soft Power) category. π¦·
I have the following ready:
Financials: β±1M (approx. 600k THB) maintained in my personal bank account for exactly 3 months. π°
Medical: A solid 1.5-year Dental Treatment Plan and Appointment Letter from a well-known, licensed dental clinic in Bangkok. πΉπ
Questions are;
-Do I still need a Sponsor Letter if I already have the 500k THB in my own name for 3 months?
-Is it okay if I don't have 'Proof of Income' or 'Employment' since I am applying via the Medical route and not the Digital Nomad/Remote Work route?
Has anyone here been approved via the Dental Route in Manila? Iβve heard mixed things, Would love to hear some success stories for assurance! Thank you! π

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is applying for a DTV visa at the Thai Embassy in Manila under the Medical Treatment category, with sufficient funds and a dental treatment plan. They question whether a sponsor letter is needed and if proof of income is necessary since they are applying for medical treatment. Community responses indicate that a sponsor letter isn't needed with sufficient personal funds, but proof of income might still be required to demonstrate financial support. Users also share experiences and offer encouragement regarding the application process.

Anonymous participant They may not accept him as a sponsor as you are not married. You have paid for 1.5 years of treatment which is good. You can email Manilla and ask them if they accept him as a sponsor. Manilla is very responsive to emails.
