Do you need to show 3 months of funds for the Thai DTV application?
Hi all,
My friend and I are planning to apply for the DTV from Ireland as soon as possible. Neither of us has held the minimum 500k baht in our personal bank accounts for the past 3 months, though we can transfer the funds across from our investment accounts immediately.
The official requirement is 3 months of seasoning, but I’d rather not wait that long if I can avoid it. For anyone who has applied recently: did you need to show the full 3 months, or has 1 month (or less) been accepted in practice?

If the official requirements are certain amount for 3 months, why are you so special that they're going to just say, yeah this person is special so we'll just let them walk in no matter what. This is exactly what Thailand is looking for; people who want to break all the rules before they even officially arrive in country. It's bad behavior that is 100% responsible for the 60 days visa exempt being reduced to 30. By all means apply.

ask the embassy. And be VERY specific about your question. Some require 3 months seasoning. Some don't/
