What additional documents do I need to include for my DTV application to Thailand?

Hello all,

I have the following documents

1) the passport bio and recent picture

2) a utility tax bill and phone bill for current location

3) about 6 months worth of 500,000+ baht balance in a single document, plus an additional savings account with more on two more pages. Total about 8 pages from January to present.

4) EIN tax document for the business, state incorporation doc for the business, letter on company letterhead with seal and includes verbiage like “no Thai business allowed”, “allowed to work remotely worldwide, to include the Kingdom of Thailand” and a few other phrases I thought would be important

Question, do you think I should include anything else?

Question, I don’t have my flight yet not sure when I am arriving within the next 3 months can I just put a flight number?

Question, I also don’t know where I would stay for the extended amount of time because I like the islands but also love Bangkok… can I just use an arrival hotel for application?

i applied for dtv medical at thai emb washdc online while visiting manila a year+ ago.  uploaded:  proof of med appt at bnh, $ in bank, dl showing residence in east coast of usa, photo.  took 5 business and dtv emailed to me.  shockingly fast ya.  i have no idea why americans at least would fly to manila to apply in person at thai emb there.

Did they request six months of bank statements? I was on the Washington embassy website yesterday and it said three months of statements per applicant.

Download it, copy it and get it laminated

Laminated is the most important part. The immigration think your serious and you will never have a problem

Yes, you can put an intended flight number down along with an arrival hotel. Did you included contracts with clients? Detail how your business operates online?

You Don't have a cover letter or motivation letter explaining your work, how it's remote, why you are coming to Thailand, how frequently and for how long, for how many years?

Some embassies want monthly statements that are split on separate documents per month.

Make sure your documents are orderly, easy to understand, and you don't add unnecessary documents that add confusion,  like for example why you are attaching statements from multiple accounts when you could give only one account with monthly statements with the required balance. Or if for some reason you want to give multiple accounts, some people report attaching an explanation with a table of totals per month, while others report being requested statements again due to The embassy not being able to understand what was submitted.
