Do I need a new re-entry permit after renewing my Non-B visa for a holiday in Malaysia?

Question about re-entry permit.

I currently have a multiple-entry re-entry permit that I bought 6 months ago. Under my old Non-B, I was good until 25/03/18 (my contract end date).

Today I renewed my Non-B and stamp says I'm permitted to stay until 25/03/19.

I plan to go on holiday in Malaysia from 2-12 Mar. Return to Thailand on 12 Mar.

Do I need to get a new re-entry permit before leaving for Malaysia?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired whether they need a new re-entry permit after renewing their Non-B visa for an upcoming holiday in Malaysia. A commenter clarified that since the user applied for an Extension of Stay, they will require a new re-entry permit, as the previous permit was based on the old visa status.

First, you did not renew your Non B, but applied for an Extension Of Stay. Your old multiple re-entry is based on your old Extension of Stay, so for this NEW Extension of Stay you need a NEW re-entry Permit.
