Hi guys, I have a really silly doubt that just popped into my head, on September 26th my DTV visa was approved, I know I have 3 months to validate it, my flight is on December 13th, my doubt is: are 90 actual days valid or is the third month counted as a whole starting from December 1st? thanks a lot!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is confused about the time frame they have to travel on their newly approved DTV visa. They believe they have to validate the visa within 3 months of approval but other community members clarify that the DTV visa is valid for 5 years and doesn't require validation within the first 3 months.

Where did you get from that you need to use it within 3 months? It's valid for 5 years.

There's no need to "validate" anything.

If you use it within 1826 days you’ll still get a stamp for 180 days.

then I did confusion in my mind, cause I read that I had to request the visa or before of 3 months, but indeed now makes sense cause I have 5 years to show it at the airport when I’ll arrive, thanks!
