Hi everyone, I need clarification about the flight requirement for the DTV visa.
I already booked a 7-day round-trip ticket to Thailand for my upcoming trip.
Some people say that for the DTV application, I must show an onward/exit flight 90 days after my arrival, not earlier.
Is this true?
Do I really need to provide a flight booking that is more than 90 days away,
or is my current 7-day round-trip ticket acceptable for the DTV pre-approval?
Has anyone successfully applied with a short-term return ticket (like 1 week or 10 days)?
Thanks in advance for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The DTV visa application does not require a flight booking that is more than 90 days away. Many users have successfully applied with short-term return tickets, and it is common to enter proposed flight dates that may not be strictly adhered to. It's acceptable to leave the exit date blank or use a return ticket within a month or two, and applicants have reported that no questions were raised about their short-term ticket bookings.

I flew to Hanoi on the 2nd and have my return flight tomorrow on the 10th.. so exactly 5 business days because Friday was a holiday.. got approved today after little bit less than 4 business days but prepared very good
Just remember to enter your DTV No in the box “Visa” on the online tdac form (only use the official one, it’s free) every foreigner has to compete this online and submit up to 3 days before arrival into Thailand.
Again on this form you can either leave blank your exit travel date or put the date down if you know the date your are departing Thailand.
The flight information requested on the application is just intended/proposed itinerary. You're not bound by these dates and you can enter Thailand for one hour one day one week or 6 months. A departing ticket out is not necessary.
