Hi. I have a question for DTV visa holders. If I'm coming to Thailand for a month and changing accommodations every 3-4 days, should I also ask hotels booked through Agoda to complete the TM30? I'll be leaving Thailand after 30 days.
Answer summary
A DTV visa holder planning to stay in Thailand for a month and frequently changing accommodations should not need to request TM30 forms from hotels booked through Agoda. Hotels are required to submit the TM30 form within 24 hours of a guest's arrival, and they typically handle this automatically during check-in when they collect your passport information. It is essential, however, to ensure that a TM30 is filed if you later need to file a TM47 for 90-day reporting.

You don't ask, they do it. That's why they ask your passport upon check-in.
I think it's time for you to launch your YouTube channel/ paid course. People have unlimited queries from DTV and you respond tirelessly to cater those already 😄
you need TM30 to file TM47 after living in Thailand for 90 days continuously, if you dont live then you dont need .....i do the same live 1-2 week and then move, when i need to file my 90 days reporting i just stay in nice hotel for 3-4 days and get the TM30 from them ....
i know people who are here every other month, for years and years... dtv is great for them, no more paperwork for 5years, they work 1month then come home here for 1month
Anonymous participant it's a 4 star property as per internet. They will report it with in 24 hrs themselves. You'll be fine.
I was just trying to explain that you don't need to have access to the document since you won't have 90 days reporting nor 180 days visa extension but the document will have to be filed anyway by the hotel as a mandate.
Anonymous participant but please remember that it's a mandatory thing for the Hotels to report it to immigration with in 24 hrs of your arrival into Thailand. Sometimes Airbnbs don't report it.
