Hi everyone, I need some advice about my first 90-day report on a DTV visa.

I’m currently 5 days late and an agency quoted me 2,500 THB service fee + 2,000 THB fine, saying they need 4 days to process it. And than I’m too late.. that’s why I will get a fine

I’m considering going to Immigration myself tomorrow instead. Has anyone done this by themselves while a few days late?

Main questions: what documents do I need, do I need TM47/TM30 printed, and is it still possible to avoid the fine if I go in person now?

Thanks for any advice! 🙏
Answer summary
The user is seeking advice on handling their first 90-day report for a DTV visa in Thailand, noting they are five days late. They mention being quoted 2,500 THB for a service fee and an additional 2,000 THB fine by an agency. Commenters advise against using an agency, indicating that individuals can report up to seven days late without incurring a fine. They suggest going to Immigration personally, bringing their passport and TM30 form, and highlight that fines are typically only enforced after the seven-day grace period.

Ha ha, those sneaky agents! They'll do it tomorrow because no paperwork is needed, and pocket the 2000 baht.

I'd do the same, see if the farang are too dumb to notice.

Whether you report 8 days late or 8 months late the fine is still 2000B and that is only if the Immigration Officer notices you missed reporting. If you are leaving the country soon there is a good chance that this miss will not be noticed when you return and do your first 90 day report.

If you report in person before you go 7 days over (i.e. tomorrow or Friday) there is no fine.

Make sure you go tomorrow as they are closed on Monday & Wednesday of next week.

Your "agent" is about to scam you.

You can fill up the 90-day report from two weeks before the date to seven days after the date. And it's free as long as you do it no later than seven days after the due date.

Just take your passport, your TM30 and go to the immigration to do it yourself.

Avoid those parasite agents, go yourself you have 7days after the due date for no fine, after that it is 2000 baht fine 1 day or 1year late the fine is the same

Sounds like you're actually fine and they have to wait four days to actually pay the fine. I would go to immigration and do it yourself.

If you are going in person you can go anywhere from 14 days before through to 7 days after your due date without penalty

Once again someone is falling foul of a visa agent scam. You can be up to seven days late with no penalty. Just do it yourself. You don't need someone to hold your hand

You can file it up to 7 days after your due date without a fine.
