Will my girlfriend’s unemployment affect her application for the DTV visa in Indonesia?

Hello all, my girlfriend who is from Indonesia is planning on applying for the DTV (using soft power for cooking classes) in Jakarta and she is not employed. I support her and pay for everything for us but am wondering if that will be a problem in getting approved if she is unemployed? I do plan on making the deposit of $15,000 into her account (and plan to be added/named on her account as well) and also wonder if we should wait three months before applying or if she could get approved with just one or two months of statements.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquires about their girlfriend from Indonesia applying for a DTV visa focused on cooking classes, and whether her unemployment might hinder approval. They plan to make a significant deposit into her bank account and seek advice on the necessity of providing one or two months’ bank statements. Comments provide insights suggesting that while some have been approved with only one month of statements, there may be variability in requirements, especially with the transition to e-visas. It's also noted that joint accounts may not be applicable since they are not married, and the importance of a sponsorship letter is mentioned.

She has a separate account is fine. You are as a spouse, you should produce sponsorship letter.

The bank needs to be in her name only and I’ve researched cooking classes 120 55,000-75,000 baht

The Thai Embassy in Jakarta have previously approved applications with 1 month bank statement...

I have not read any reports after they moved to e-visa, so no idea if they are getting stricter.

There have been SOME reports where embassies have requested proof of income, even for soft power applications, but that is not the norm (I've seen some cases from Taipei).

My guess is that it will be fine (never any guarantees).

I have no idea but are joint accounts allowed for an individual application?

You are not married so adding you is irrelevant.
