Which embassies are more flexible with the 500k THB requirement for Thai visa renewal?

Hello everyone! I need to leave Thailand next week to apply since my visa is expiring. I am wondering if there is any embassy that is more flexible with the 500kTHB requirement, as usually expected to be in the account for over 3 months. Mine has only been there for 2-2.5 months. I was considering Laos, but it seems they’re strict about the 3 month requirement. I have also heard Vietnam has been rejecting more applications lately and taking longer overall.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is seeking guidance on possible embassies that are more lenient regarding the 500k THB requirement for visa applications, as their funds have been in the account for only 2-2.5 months instead of the typical 3 months. Comments reveal that there have been recent approvals in Vietnam with less than 3 months of funds, and Laos is also suggested as a viable option for applicants even with shorter fund seasoning. However, applicants in Vietnam have reported delays and rejections, making Laos potentially more favorable.

Taipei has no seasoning requirement. I also sold stock just before applying there. I was approved the same day when they did In person applications. Online applications now take around 10 business days.

Vietnam has recently approved applicants with less than 3 month seasoned funds. Laos is a good option but can take 2-4 weeks depending on interview.

Anonymous participant Laos usually requires a short interview then approval shortly after. Depending on the date of the interview will determine length of approval. You can request an earlier date. A recent Vietnam applicant submitted 3 months of statements with 2 of those at 500k. 3-6 months of statements are usually submitted.

Anonymous participant Generally all embassies require 3 -6 mths of statements. Laos requires 3 mths of 500k but Vietnam is ok with just a final balance of 500k as is Taipei.

I just received my DTV visa in Hanoi, soft power, my bank statements dated from January 20 - March 10, so not the 3 full months, no questions asked. It was fine for me, but not πŸ’― guaranteed.
