Do I need to show a 500k THB bank statement again at immigration when re entering thailand on a DTV visa?
Answer summary
When re-entering Thailand on a DTV visa, it appears there is no strict requirement to show a 500,000 THB bank statement. Many travelers have reported entering Thailand multiple times without being asked for this proof of funds, though some inconsistencies exist based on individual immigration officers' discretion. It is suggested to carry relevant documentation, such as a PDF proof of the visa or cash, as some travelers have mentioned possible requests from immigration, especially under certain circumstances or if an officer feels the need to investigate further.

Fill your pockets and say yes its 500k, and ask if they want to count it
The correct amount is 20k thb or equivalent in any currency (for individual) and 30k (for family). Whether immigration asks for the proof of funds or not is entirely up to them. Most people have not been asked. Some have. It depends on many factors. It's not discrimination. It's just like when you exit immigration under the 'nothing to declare' lane, immigration doesn't check most of the time but sometimes, they do.
I came through bkk yesterday and they didn’t ask. It’s probably my 10th time coming in and never been asked. I think it’s something they would ask if something about you rings alarms in their head or in the system. If you’re all above board I don’t see them asking too many questions.
No, that is not a standard requirement. I've entered around 10 times and have never been asked. But in reality, the immigration officer can request what he/she wants before giving you permission to enter
