Ok everyone relax! I’ve checked this and still seems factual!

However if anyone disagrees please tell me!

A person can still travel to Thailand without a visa if the stay is less than 30 days? Correct? And yes I know that would be stupid because half the time would be in quarantine.

Just want to know if it’s still correct?

Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, travelers from certain countries can enter Thailand without a visa for up to 45 days under the Visa Exemption Program, provided they meet specific conditions such as obtaining a Certificate of Entry (COE), having COVID-19 insurance, and undergoing mandatory quarantine. Travelers may also extend their stay by an additional 30 days, totaling 75 days without a visa. However, they must comply with the latest entry requirements due to COVID-19.

So after researching still confused? Does there have to be a separate policy for Covid or can the health plan include Covid coverage?

doesn't have to be a separate policy but must be clearly stated that it covers Covid and med coverage of at least 100,000 usd.

I thought a requirement of the COE was having a valid visa?.

no. You need a COE to enter Thailand. My Thai partner needed one. Those on visa exemption will still need a COE despite not travelling on a visa.

Yes and then you can extend for another 30 days, so 75 days total without a visa. You still need the CoE, F2F, PCR, Insurance etc.

So although it’s not a visa sounds like you have to apply for the Visa Exemption program where in the past you just provided a passport?

Thailand has allowed foreigners to enter the kingdom by air under the Visa Exemption Program for 45 days. The foreigners must obtain certificate of entry (COE), provide COVID-19 insurance and undergo mandatory quarantine.

Yes the 30 days visa exempt option is available for certain countries. However, you still need to apply for COE which involves having a flight and ASQ booking along with insurance.
