TLDR : Answer Summary
You can enter Thailand without a visa for a stay of up to 30 days, depending on your nationality. Currently, no specific COVID-19 insurance is required, although general travel insurance is recommended for coverage during your holiday.

ok visa exempt allows a 30 day entry, so you’ll be fine. In the event you like it here too much and are trying to escape the scorching temperatures in Scotland, you can also get a further 30 days extension to that at a local immigration office.

If so then they can get a visa exempt entry. The name would imply Scottish but it’s best to confirm these things…

Insurance not compulsory. Only insurance would be any travel insurance you would normally choose to buy to cover any holiday.

Depends on your nationality. No insurance needed nowadays (other than some long term visas).
