Hey I have a question

So how do i determine which immigration office i have to see. As for i know it is depending on where I'm staying eg. Adress on tm30 in province A I'll have to see the office in province A. Does this count for an Ed visa as well or will i have to see the office in the province where the school is located? TIA and have a nice day 😊

Answer summary

To determine which immigration office to visit for your ED visa, you need to consider your residence. The immigration office you should go to typically corresponds to the address listed on your TM30 form. If your TM30 address is in Province A, you should visit the immigration office in Province A. However, some users question the logic of obtaining an ED visa extension from an office in a different province from where you reside.

And why would you have an ED visa extension from an immigration office where you don't live?

So you get your extensions based on education at Chaengwattana BUT you actually live in a bordering province?

ahh, I see, well, I'd say wait until you get back into the country and then ask the university what immigration office you'll use to get an extension on the ED visa when it comes due.

As far as I know, you get the extension at the immigration office that serves the address where the university is located.
