Hi Everyone -

Trip planned from Jan 1- Jan 21 2022 . Indian passport . Travelling from India . So it says we can get a visa on arrival ( but this lets us stay for just 14 days ) . Is there another visa we could apply for us to extend our stay , as our tickets are booked until the 21 st .Please do give me your inputs . Thanks in advance . 💖

TLDR : Answer Summary
An Indian national planning to travel to Thailand from January 1 to January 21, 2022, is considering their visa options as a Visa on Arrival only allows a 14-day stay. Responses suggest that while the Visa on Arrival can be extended for an additional 7 days, it is not sufficient for their entire stay. Travelers are encouraged to apply for a Tourist Visa at their local Thai embassy, which provides an initial 60-day stay with a possibility of a one-time extension.

Contact your nearest Thai Embassy. I think Indian Nationals can obtain a Tourist Visa (60 days) extendable one time. (30 days).

The visa on arrival is extendable at local immigration for up to 7 days (Indian Passports) .

I believe you’ll find that that’s actually a refusal to extend and you’re given 7 days to leave Thailand. Semantics I know.

A Visa on arrival (available for Indian nationals) is 15 days and not extendable. You can apply at your local Thai embassy for a tourist visa which would give you 60 days.
