Hi, I have 2 questions.
First, I got a tourist visa in Canada but they only gave me a 30 day entry. I think they did not see my visa (no used stamp on it) so can I still use my visa later when I re-enter?
Second, I’m actually renting an apartment and I read on this group before how you have to register your address within 3 days. I didn’t do that and I asked the apartment agent and he didn’t do it either, so should I still try to go to the immigration office to try to get a 30 day extension, risking the penalty from not registering address?
Thank you!
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has two questions: Firstly, regarding their tourist visa obtained in Canada, they want to know if they can use it again upon re-entry after receiving a 30-day entry stamp. It is suggested that the visa can be used until its expiration date. Secondly, the user inquires about the potential penalties for not registering their apartment address within the required three days when seeking a 30-day extension of stay. Responses indicate that failing to register may result in a fine of around 1,600 THB, but the risk might be lower based on the specific location.
