Can I use an ED visa if I already have a DTV visa in Thailand?

The point is peanut 🥜 you said that you can’t have two active visas and already have DTV and elite , every time I land in Thailand over the past 12 months since having elite , they ask sir you have also DTV which stamp would you like 1 year or 6 months .

That alone shows you are wrong.

And to your credit I was under the same opinion as you ( under common sense) until I personally went through it.

Even apply for elite they told me I had to cancel my DTV first so I emailed the embassy, they send back a copy of my DTV visa with the word “VOIDED” in red on it , yet they still

Ask me 12 months later which visa I want to use.

I emailed elite concierge stating that I will be moving to a work permit soon ( I don’t know the visa that I get ) I haven’t got that deep yet , and they sent this email saying it’s no worries the visa plus work permit I get won’t effect my elite visa , I just simply have to tell them which visa stamp I need when I arrive

I think that the company (Thailand privilege ) would have a better understanding of it then you 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Elite visa stays active, DTV stays active and the Minsitry of Labor is going to issue a work permit, not even in Disney world or fantasy land.

AuthenticShark2607 if you have used your DTV to enter Thailand then it will be on your file now and they will cancel physically next time you enter.

it was cancelled in the immigration computer system as soon as your ED visa was issued. Thailand's computer systems now are very advanced. Twenty years ago some weren't always connected, but now everything is. You can not have two different visas at the same time. The system won't let it happen, no matter what.
