Will my past overstays affect my entry into Thailand with a DTV visa?

I received my DTV visa. I haven't been to Thailand in two years. But when I went, I used the land visa and overstayed my visa by 14 days three times. Should I worry that I won't be allowed into Thailand? Thanks for answering!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned about being allowed entry into Thailand with a new DTV visa after previously overstaying their visa multiple times. Responses from the community offer varying perspectives, with some suggesting that the user may face extra scrutiny but could still be admitted if they are prepared with appropriate documentation. Others express confidence that the user will be fine due to the time elapsed since the overstays. Key advice includes having proof of onward travel and sufficient cash for the duration of their stay.

Order the green corridor service and be met by an officer at the airport. Then you'll be allowed into Thailand.

Maybe it might be an idea to have a proof of onward travel.

Buy a refundable outbound ticket somewhere. Have sufficient cash on you (its a good idea anyway seeing you have to pay ATM fees), and at least the first 1-2 weeks booked

I wish people would stop trying to scare you. You should be fine. I'm sure you paid your overstay fines and you've been gone long enough now that any dust should be settled. Get on the plane and come on back.

You might attract extra attention at the border with your history, but as long as you are prepared for some questioning, have proof you comply with requirements you might be OK.

Allthough for DTV you don't need any proof of onward travel, it might be an idea you can convince them you will leave this time within 180 days.

DTV is issued by the MoFA while your habitual overstay issue is with the Department of Immigration. 3 times shows that you can’t be trusted to follow immigration laws and therefore an issue for Thailand.

Did you read the overstay policy before you applied for the visa or no?

There is a long standing history of a disconnect between visa issuance at embassies and immigration for entry

So be prepared especially with the new changes
