If someone holds a DTV visa, can he enter with visa exemption, do an Ed visa for 3 months, open a bank account, then leave and come back with the still valid DTV visa?
Answer summary
No, it is not possible to hold more than one valid visa at a time in Thailand. If someone enters with a visa exemption while holding a DTV visa, they cannot then apply for an ED visa without cancelling the DTV visa first. Additionally, you cannot open a bank account under a visa exemption.

Why would you ask on social media if you can break the law? Hopefully the blacklist is in your future!
Visa linked to passport. Have to cancel DTV and apply for a new one. Seems a lot of effort and expense. It's an (8) for effort but a (1) for execution.
You can not hold more than one valid visa at a time. You might be able to sneak in under visa exemption if they simply don’t notice your visa but you can’t open a bank account under visa exemption either.
No, and even if you could (hold multiple visas, open a bank account with a basic ED visa which are not possible), you'll lose your account pretty quickly.
