How long does it take to apply for a DTV visa at the Dutch embassy in Thailand?
I got rejected for the DTV visa (soft power, muay thai) in Hanoi…
I want to apply in my home country the Netherlands in about 3 months (first I will enter Thailand on the tourist visa). Anyone who knows how the Dutch embassy is with the DTV application? How long it takes etcetera… Thank you!

they used to be, with hundreds of people who used to live here on visa exemption applying for DTV they've gotten more and more strict. I do hope they tighten even more otherwise this visa is gonna end up the same way of Ed visaAndi ***********
DioParco3474 They are still easier than the Netherlands for approval. Yeah, the increase of VEs applying especially via the Softpower option has seen an increase in stricter approvals.

You also have a tourist visa? If you have a valid tourist visa, you are not eligible for any other Thai visas until it has been used. Maybe this is why you were rejected?

Anonymous participant also, you need to be careful, as there is a chance you might be rejected if you try to return again on a visa exempt. From your photo, I can see you departed Thailand in November, went to Malaysia for a day trip and then returned on another visa exempt. How many times have you done time? How long have you been in Thailand for the last 365 days?

Anonymous participant so you didn’t have a visa? You entered before on visa exempt (without a visa) and plan to do that again? Just going to highlight that this is why it is hard to know if you paperwork was correct, just because you said so, because you are clearly making mistakes in terminology used .

You know why you got rejected. I've read they are strict in The Netherlands. I've got mine there too, also muy thai. Had to come for an but rest was simple. Think it took 2 weeks.
