TLDR : Answer Summary
To apply for an extension at Chaengwattana, your relative can go anytime as long as they have 45 days or less remaining on their current visa stamp. Regarding the bank documents, the bank letter confirming the 800k baht requirement can be up to 7 days old, but the bank book must reflect an updated balance on the application date, and a full year of transaction history is also necessary.
