Tomorrow, I have to go to immigration, to show that 800,000 bht has been in my account since I did my retirement extension, do I just take my bank book ? And can I get it updated today, as it doesn't update in the machine, and the bank opens at 8.30 am,

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is preparing for a visit to immigration to demonstrate that they have maintained 800,000 baht in their account as part of their retirement visa extension requirements. They inquire whether bringing their bank book is sufficient and ask about the possibility of updating their bank book on the same day as their appointment. Comments emphasize the importance of updating the bank book on the correct date versus bringing an outdated record, along with suggestions on how to update it ahead of the immigration visit.

You can't update if for fixed term immigration will accept this.

Yes update your bank book

and how do you know you go tomorrow? Did you use an immigration office that gave you a paper telling you when to return (like Jomtien does)?

You need to update your bank book on the date you go back

So while the immigration office might open at 8:30 it won't do you any good going there with a bank book updated today :/ Find a passbook updater (usually in front of banks) and update your book there

immigration (jomtien) gave me a paper, with the date to go back, my bank book doesn't work in the machine, so I need to go into a branch, I will check if there is a branch open early in jomtien, if not will get to immigration at about 9,

Thanks

yep, thought it was Jomtien (they're one of the only offices that make people go back in 3 months and show the bank book

just to confirm, I only need the bank book ? No letter from bank confirming that 800k has been in my account for 3 months?
Tod *********
@Mark **********
the bank doesn't write a letter like that, you update your bank book on the date you go back, make a copy of the information page of the bank book and the last page that shows the current balance
Tod *********
do you have a paper like this ?

Tod when I read this it appears they’re asking that you have both income of 65,000 + 800,000 deposit.
Tod *********
It is not
@Pe***
, it's all banked money or all monthly transfers or a combination of the two.
