Hi i have a question! I have a non immigrant O multi entry family-based having a Thai daughter. On June 9 my visa expires. My question was whether I can take the annual extension or can I just take a 60-day family extension? Thanks in advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about options to extend their Non-Immigrant O multi-entry visa, expiring on June 9, while supporting a Thai daughter. Responses indicated that if certain qualifications are met, an annual extension of stay based on parenting a Thai child is possible. Alternatively, a 60-day family visit extension may also be an option. However, it was pointed out that the user must have official parental rights to apply for these extensions.

And as the visa question is answered and this page is not for how to get parental rights at a family court in Thailand advice, it is time to close it down. Good luck

As you are the father you need to have the parental rights by family court or local amphur, this depending on age of the child.

Without official parental rights you can not apply for an Extension of Stay based on having Thai Children

And what proof of your Thai child did you submit in getting the Non O Support Thai Child visa?

You are Italian...on a Non O supporting Thai Child visa.

Either you will be on amnesty until July 31...

Or you can apply for the 60 days Visit Family extension.

Hopeful a border opens to allow you to obtain a new visa or 90 day extension by bouncing out..

The answer to both of your questions is "yes". If you meet the qualifications, you should get a one year extension of stay based on supporting a half Thai Child.

Just a question - is the person holding the Multiple Entry Non-O visa the mother?
